ThermHex expands product portfolio

Since mid-November, in addition to the well-known thicknesses of 3.5 mm and 8 – 28 mm, ThermHex now offers its customers polypropylene honeycomb cores in 5 mm and 6 mm thickness. This provides users with additional options and optimization potential.

The continuous production process allows the innovator from Saxony-Anhalt to efficiently produce even thinner cores. Unlike traditional manufacturers of thermoplastic honeycomb cores using discontinuous production methods, ThermHex can significantly reduce waste and labor.

The new thicknesses are suitable, for example, as an alternative to resin-impregnated non-woven core mats.
